Make it useful: optimizing your website or blog.
Because this blog covers topics on working from home, this should help those of you with home based websites or blogs.
One of the best things you can do for your website or blog is to make sure it has several resources that your visitors can use. For example, in this blog we have created links for international news, employment sites, tv programming sites, and technology solutions.
We have also been very fortunate to have included translation capability into the site. Just click on your language of choice in the side-bar and within seconds you will have this site in your language of choice. I will paste a post later on where you can get such a device for free.
Another great way to add value to your site or blog is to establish a relationship with LinkShare. LinkShare allows you the opportunity to monetize your website or blog by placing advertisements on your site. LinkShare has a multitude of accounts that you can advertise from CompUSA to iTunes to AT&T to Wal-Mart. Registration is very simple and it should allow you to get started very quickly.
They allow you to place as many ads as you see fit into your site. You can choose from banners or text links to specific products too. If you have a blog with widget tools that help you to automate the process, it will be easier and faster to replace the ads regularly. If, however, you are working on a website, it shouldn’t be harder but it will be manual since you have to pick and choose where you want to place the ads on each page. You can check out Linkshare directly by clicking here.
